Can Part-time or Internship Get a Visa?
As we know ,foreigners are required to hold a valid Chinese visa when they come to China.
When applying for a visa, there are various requirements that many applicants may not notice.
Can they apply for a visa to China only with
part-time or internship work experience ?
- Actually ,they can’t ! But it can be included in the Resume for review when applying visa for the related type.
Today, we’ll share this important information with you.
To begin with,
obtaining a Chinese visa as a foreigner is not a easy process but there are some specific requirements for the
applications, including work experience.
This work experience is considered important when applying for a visa to China.
Many applicants believe that this work experience must be long-term or formal.
However, if their previous work experience was part-time or an internship, it is not acceptable.
In general,
this issue needs to be reviewed and checked from two perspectives.
Chinese work visas are divided into three categories:
A (for high-end foreign talents),
B (for professional foreign talents), and
C (for ordinary foreign individuals).
For a type B visa, which requires two years or more of relevant work experience, the work experience must be full-time and should not overlap with the applicant's study period.
In other words, if you are applying for a B visa, part-time or internship work experience is not acceptable.
For applicants applying for a C visa, which is for outstanding recent graduates. In this case, there is no work experience requirement.
If the applicant has internship or part-time experience, it can be included in their resume. Therefore, it is not that part-time or internship work experience is unacceptable, but it depends on the type of visa being applied for.
